October AAF Luncheon with Wilson Lemieux

Follow Wilson Lemieux's journey from a one-man band to full-scale production. Hear how we can capitalize on small opportunities and turn them into big wins with the mindset that just because we’re in West Texas, it doesn’t mean we can’t try to punch above our weight class and compete with the big dogs.

Wilson Lemieux has a passionate focus on film, people, and the stories that inspire the best of both.  A father to four and husband to one, Wilson juggles running Lemieux Co, a creative storytelling company focused on the power of film, and forgetting what his wife asked him to get from the grocery store.  Wilson has helped tell stories for national brands like AT&T, Topgolf, the Oklahoma City Thunder, and the Kentucky Lottery, as well as more local brands like ASCO Equipment, Amarillo National Bank, and Lokey’s Body Shop.  A graduate of West Texas A&M, Wilson never misses an opportunity to encourage the next generation of storytellers and advertisers.

Join AAF Lubbock and Wilson Lemieux at Stella's Restaurant on October 24th for “Keep Pickin' Watermelons: A Commentary on Creative in West Texas."

RSVP required.
Admission to this event is $30 for non-member, $15 for students.  Limited seating available.

We feel stymied because our creativity has stopped flowing for whatever the reason. Fear has arrived and it can absolutely kill creativity. Learn about the Good, the Bad and the Ugly types of fear. We’ll explore two definitions of F.E.A.R. and how they can impact our creative development, both professionally and personally. Annually, the AAF's Ad Clubs bestow this honor upon outstanding members of the local advertising community. The award serves to enhance the image of advertising by recognizing a locally well-known person for his or her advertising and community involvement.

The West Texas Trailblazers will recognize a handful of advertising professionals under the age of 40 who have made their mark on our industry. Recipients were selected based on their creative contributions, demonstration of leadership, impact on our community, and overall professional excellence.
